Post-demo release thoughts!


Hello and welcome to the first update for SEVERED!

First of all, thank you so much for checking out my first long visual novel. Your feedbacks and support. are very much appreciated. Also to those who attended Game Fest BN and stopped by my booth last weekend, I also want to thank you guys.

So far most of the feedbacks are as follows:

THE GOOD
- great story premise
- appropriate choice of music
- interesting characters and setting

THE BAD
- some parts of the story lack music
- grammar errors
- could use more visuals in some scenes

(mostly this is due to time constraints during the development process, since I had to finish this first before I could submit my final project report)

WHAT I CAN IMPROVE ON
- Story writing and proofreading
- Gameplay
- Use of visuals

FUTURE ADDITIONS
- Additional gameplay features (Inventory/Evidence Notes)
- Expand the story
- Add new characters.
- Add new music (might consider hire musicians, preferably Brunei-based)

A lot of people including one of my professors suggested me to continue working on this game, but of course I need to take a break first. This project so far has drained me a lot. Once I'm done with school for real, maybe I can start working on the outline for the next part of the story and properly work on a game dev documentation for this game.
